Biking is a lovely way to experience the city as SF is an extremely bike friendly place. Moreover, the SoSf guide(BB) was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the city. Even if you don't bike on a regular basis, this tour will suit you just fine as it is not very vigorous exercise and you do a fair amount of "wiggling"(avoiding inclines). I would advise doing this tour in the beginning of your visit since you cover a lot of territory and may discover places you might want to return to.

Such a fun way to learn about the neighborhoods of SanFrancisco while getting some fresh air and exercise. Beats a bus tour. Don't be daunted by the hills of San Francisco. Our guide Josh led us on the 7x7 tour through the bikeways and streets, gently getting us up the hills to see the views. He was so knowledgeable of the fun history, culture, art (murals) and architecture, and food of this great city and shared his passion for the lively neighborhoods. It's a leisurely pace, with lots of stops to hear about the sights, and a lunch break with fabulous food to purchase. Josh followed up by email with a list of other sights to see and many ideas for good cafes and restaurants, listed by neighborhood. If you can ride a bike, do it!

Absolutely recommend! We did an evening tour in conjunction with a work conference and it was super fun. In total, we had eight people in our group and the guys at SoSF bike tours made us feel very comfortable. Also, anyone questioning biking on SF streets, don't fret. The majority of the tour are on clearly marked bike lanes and along the Embarcadero. Everything was at a leisurely pace and we learned alot of cool pieces of history of San Fran. Would absolutely do it again!

Discovering the city on a bicycle ride with Beebe was a really fun experience, despite our lack of luck with the weather on that day! We learnt tons of stuff about the city over the 3 hours of the tour, all with a top-notch organization. Also, you will depart and arrive in a very cute neighborhood with awesome coffee and ice cream next door - so make sure to leave a little time before or after to enjoy these as well!

Biking is my new favorite way to explore San Francisco, thanks to this tour! Beebe is an awesome guide, who not only has a wealth of local knowledge, but goes the extra mile to be hospitable, prepared and engaging. As a new resident to San Francisco, I loved re-discovering the city by bike! I was able to cover more ground in one afternoon than I have in a month. This is a must experience when you are new to San Francisco. Beebe, who was leading our tour, was a pro and such a lovely person to hang out with for a couple of hours. She maneuvered us safely through the city and showed us some wonderful corners that certainly none of the double deckers or mainstream tours would have gone (e.g. passing by the leather fetish festival added to the flair). Beebe was extremely knowledgable (I like to ask a lot of questions!) and she was well prepared (tools, spare tires, even some snacks for the extremely needy ones). For those that like 'local', this is it.

Myself and 2 friends recently completed this bike tour. When booking the tour, we all thought it would be a bit of a laugh, seen as we haven't (or I hadn't) ridden a bike since I was a kid!. This tour was the best, you went to some of the more popular areas of SFO, but the best part was the hidden secrets, areas that you wouldn't normally see as a tourist! Dan is an amazing tour guide who has a intimate knowledge and understanding of the local area. I would definitely recommended this tour to everyone heading to SFO.

I'm a bit biased because I love biking so much I used to lead bike tours of my own...but the SoSF bike tour I took reinforced my conviction that bikes are the best way to explore. I live in San Francisco, but learned tons about the hidden history of spots I've never glanced twice at, and found out about hidden gems I never knew existed. Tim and Daniel were fantastic guides. Highly recommended.

I took this bike tour a while back and it was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We took the much less touristy route but still got to see some significant San Francisco landmarks. Even though I live in the city, I learned some new facts about SF and really enjoyed myself.
