San Francisco covers forty-nine square miles, and on this tour, you’ll see the best of it. This is a fun-filled day of historical exploration, with San Francisco’s unique neighborhoods, sights, and wonderful cultures mixed in. Want the list? Here it is: Starting at Alamo Square, we visit Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, Fisherman’s Wharf, the Marina, South Beach, the Mission, and the Castro. Highlights include Golden Gate Bridge, Aquatic Park, Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, the baseball stadium (go Giants!), houseboats, sacred street art, Mission Dolores, and local bike culture. Midway through the tour, we’ll stop to relax and refuel on fresh, local cuisine (not included in tour price). Eat a big breakfast, it’s going to be an epic day!

• You want to learn lots and really get a feel for all this city offers.
• You’re happy to cycle 17-19 miles at a mellow pace, ascend some hills, and be comfortable on some steeper descents. (Of course, we’ll be taking plenty of breaks along the way)

Such a fun way to learn about the neighborhoods of SanFrancisco while getting some fresh air and exercise. Beats a bus tour. Don't be daunted by the hills of San Francisco. Our guide Josh led us on the 7x7 tour through the bikeways and streets, gently getting us up the hills to see the views. He was so knowledgeable of the fun history, culture, art (murals) and architecture, and food of this great city and shared his passion for the lively neighborhoods. It's a leisurely pace, with lots of stops to hear about the sights, and a lunch break with fabulous food to purchase. Josh followed up by email with a list of other sights to see and many ideas for good cafes and restaurants, listed by neighborhood. If you can ride a bike, do it!
