My name is Justin Ebert, I grew up in Iowa City, and received my degree in 2008 from the University of Iowa in Geography. For the past 3 years I have been living in "Sin City" doing the COMPLETE opposite of most people think I would do in this town...I have worked for the National Park Service and USDA Forest Service as a volunteer coordinator and have become very familiar with local trails.

Having grown up in a mountaineering family (my parents operated an adventure hiking/mountaineering company called the Iowa Mountaineers that was founded by my grandparents), hiking trips have been a big part of my life.

For the past 5 years, I have been involved in developing Alpenglow Adventures, an adaptive hiking program for individuals with disabilities. We have completed adaptive hiking trips to Patagonia, the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and many other incredible National Parks in the USA.
