Main Street may be one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city but it is home to some of the youngest and hippest locals. It is home to many of the city’s trendiest restaurants, designer local boutiques, and funky antique shops. This tour is a progressive dinner walking tour that involves 5 courses with at least two samples of alcohol. A great way to learn about this interesting neighbourhood, socialize with new friends, and experience the best food and beverages Main Street has to offer!
We start the tour at Trafiq Cafe for a glass of bubbly and a pastry fresh from the oven. We then head to Trilussa for some traditional Roman-style pizza. We then have a funky sake cocktail and a main at Locus Lounge. Lastly, we cap the tour off with a beautiful dessert at Sweet Revenge.
Our story is a love story. A love for enjoying good food with new friends, a love for the amazing and diverse city that is Vancouver, and a love for sharing this food and city with others. We have been friends for over 10 years and always talked about starting our own company. With our combined backgrounds in tourism and the hospitality industry, a culinary tour company was a perfect match. We were both avid travellers (and eaters!) and we realized that there were two things we held dear when travelling abroad. First, getting off the tourist grid and exploring hidden areas. And second, getting insider tips on where the locals eat. So we decided to combine these two values and create memorable tours that are truly different and fun.
