Walk with me through the fascinating, 150 year old Santa Maria de la Ribera, neighborhood!
You can still find old Porfiriato buildings, big houses and museums reflecting life as it was long ago. On this tour, we will walk through the streets and eat the favorite dishes of the local residents. I'll also show you the architecture, sights, sounds and tastes of one of my favorite neighborhoods in Mexico City.
Join me to explore this intriguing, off-the-beaten path neighborhood!
Itinerary
We'll start at Ribera de San Cosme Street and walk to Casa de los Cascarones, Insituto Cientifico, Parroquia de la Sagrada Familia, Teatro Sergio Magania, Alameda, Museo de Geologia, Museo del Chopo and Kiosko Morisco (central gazebo of the Alameda).
The price includes entrance fees to museums, food and coffee. Transportation to the neighborhood (we can arrange hotel pick up), additional snacks and souvenirs are extra costs not included in the tour.
