This unique experience allows you to see first hand how a professional truffle hunting harvested these incredible underground mushrooms. With the vital help of my super friendly truffle dog, we venture into the lush green forests of Oregon. My truffle dog pinpoints the exact location of the truffle and allows me, or you, to excavate it out the rich soil. As we are hunting, I will explain in detail the fascinating world of these subterranean fungi.

All of these truffle locations are known to harbor truffles, so I can guarantee that we will find some. The amount we harvest depends on the time of year. As an added bonus, you will be able to take a some of the truffles we find.

Itinerary

Meet at 10:00 am at a local coffee shop in Portland, Oregon. You will follow me to my predetermined truffle location (depending on the time of year, the drive could be anywhere from 45 min. to an 1 1/2 drive. The truffle hunt will last around 3 hours. Transportation is not included.

All truffles found on the hunt are included in the price. You get to keep some of what we find! Everyone who goes on the tour will need to sign a non-disclosure waiver.
