Meander down Telegraph from Temescal to downtown Oakland. Visit the galleries, meet gallerists and artists. Enjoy the incredibly rich and diverse Oakland art scene. We will stop by local favorite spots for drinks and/or snacks.

Tours can be tailored to specific interests. When you book a tour, you may indicate particular art genre and/or food and drink interests; I will also inform you of any relevant events, openings happening during your stay.

Tour is given by local artist and curator who has been here since the 2006 fledgling gallery openings. I'm informative, fun, and know a lot of people here. It'll be a great time.

Itinerary

General Itinerary (subject to change depending on dates and possible events happening of interest):

I can meet you at MacArthur BART. You may even be a guest at my AirBnB room! We will head a couple blocks north to Temescal's lovely art and eatery corridor, hit some galleries and at least one pub/bar/restaurant.

You have an option to rent a bicycle (best way to travel) either through me or on your own. We can ride down Telegraph, hop a bus, or walk, to head south towards downtown.

We will stop in on the Grand Ave/Telegraph Art Murmur area to visit galleries, etc. Then continue into downtown.

*A lovely option for people coming from San Francisco would be to ferry back to the city!
