On Saturdays - Start the morning on Piedmont Avenue, take a walk through the creekside pathway, then up the hill to the Rose Garden and down to Grand Ave, to the Lake and farmer's market, Children's Fairyland and/or MOCHA,
On Sundays - Start the morning at Rockridge Cafe or other kid-friendly breakfast joint, bike or walk to Frog Park, hit up the Temescal Farmer's Market, catch the 72 to downtown Oakland and go to Museum of Children's Art.
