San Francisco, California

North Beach Food and History Tour

with Grace Ann W.

This is the only tour that gives participants the full North Beach experience including Italian history, food knowledge, tastes along the way, and a spectacular repast at Rose Pistola Restaurant. We enjoy chopped salad with blue cheese, a lovely selection of pizza, and a selection of the house's best pastas. We always take vegetarians in account, when ordering. We visit the Italian “cathedral” then a 100-year-old focaccia bakery and have tastes of their fabulous products, We meet in front of Victoria Pastry at the corner of Filbert and Powell. We enjoy Italian cookies and coffee there. There are two Parking lots at Filbert and Columbus. There are about 8 blocks walking, in total.
