Culture and wine blend together for this day tour, which will take you to the Casablanca wine region, as well as the coastal cities of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Heading west out of Santiago, your first stop will be at Emiliana Vineyard in the Casablanca Valley, where you’ll taste three kinds of wine and learn how they’re made. Then it’s on to Valparaiso, considered Chile’s cultural capital and a major port for the country. Ride cliff railways that are nearly 200 years old, visit the Naval Museum, wander the Plaza Sotomayor, and go to the top of the Cerro Alegre and walk the Paseo Yugoslav, a scenic street at the top of this hill. Enjoy a traditional Chilean lunch at a local restaurant before departing for Viña del Mar, home to white sand beaches and beautiful gardens. Your guide will take you to some of the best of both of these attractions before the day is through and it’s time to return to Santiago.
