Some of New York's best drinking experiences are on rooftops. The city is a very special place for elevated drinking; there is nothing quite like sipping a martini with an unobstructed view of the Empire State Building, or lounging around with a glass of wine and watching the sun set over the Hudson River, or partying with hipsters at one of Williamsburg's many excellent rooftop beer bars.

This tour has been curated and is guided by the editors of Rooftop Drinker (http://nyc.rooftopdrinker.com), New York's leading guide to rooftop bars (which has been featured in publications such as New York Magazine). It can be daunting for an out-of-towner to navigate rooftop bars. Many of them have strict door policies and unless you show up at the right time, you won't get in. Some are also deserted on certain nights and pumping on others -- so you'll want the guidance of an expert to make best use of your limited time in New York.

Itinerary

We'll visit a selection of New York's best rooftop bars and lounges. We don't have a set itinerary; we plan each tour based on the number of people in the group and the day of the week and time of day. Although we can't guarantee that we'll be able to go to each and every one of the bars you want, we can guarantee that you'll see a fantastic selection of places and have a great time.
