Is a Full Day Time Tour to Explore the Top of Kedah, Gunung Jerai formerly called Kedah Peak, the highest Mountain in Malaysian Kedah State.
We cannot access the very top as is a forbidden Military area but few hundreds meter before is a small parking from where we access a short pedestrian trail who lead us from the car to a breathtaking view of Kedah and Penang State, South Panorama
Departure is from Penang Island. I pick you up at your accommodation around 10am and we come back for diner time.
The lunch can be take at The Regency Jerai Hill Resort situated 2 or 3 km before the top and who give an incredible Panorama to the North of the Kedah State and the nearby Islands. Or we can bring picnic according to your budget and enjoy it from the top where we have the South Panorama.
Even you opt for restaurant or picnic we will visit both place for the views. The resort is not a guest restricted area.
During the Exploration is possible to have a river bath. Mind this elevation place (1.200 m/4.000 ft) give cool air and cold water.
On the way to go & back you can discover the Malaysian way of life then we follow a steep slope road of 13 km up to the top.
