In today's pace of life we often forget that in the nature we can find many herbs that can cure health problems. A year ago I got inspired and started to make tinctures. The process for making tinctures is easy and straightforward. In my garden and in the nearbly meadows I collect herbs (lemon balm, echinacea, thyme, marigold, etc), dry them and use them in tinctures. Do you know that tinctures can be also used in natural cosmetics? Tinctures preserve and concentrate the properties of the herb, making them more effective and longer lasting. There are endless types of tinctures (an alcoholic extract of plants for use as medicine) that can be made for different purposes. Elder people from rural areas in Slovenia are saying that everyone should have a tincture of thyme at home. I encourage you to make your own organic tincture. Let's prepare the herbal remedy and catch the healing properties of herbal drops!

My parents are still living here. We have a priceless red car from 1989 and a lovely garden. Since I was 16, I have been traveling, discovering new places, trying different food and local specialities. At the Faculty of Arts I studied history and sociology of culture. I gratuated with a thesis „Backpacking as a new phenomenon of nomadism“. Given that I've visited so many countries, I decided to start writing travelogue articles about my travellings.
