"Mural Hopping" is an expression that was coined in 2013. It all started by finding a great piece of art in a public space wall that was not signed by the artist. That ignited a flame which now became this project of showing the street art found in Montevideo.
This tour covers different neighborhoods in Montevideo, such as Barrio Sur y Palermo, Buceo, Cordón, Ciudad Vieja, Goes, Parque Rodó and Pocitos, among others.
The city is becoming the canvas of many different artists with their own unique styles. It was also the stage for the first convention for Spanish American street artists "MUTA Montevideo", Goes neighborhood was the first one to start mutating.
The tour lasts about 3,5 hours and the transportation is in a van that will take us throughout the whole city so as to cover all the best "murales".
"Mural Hopping" is a great opportunity for those who are interested in street art, urban culture, and photography.
