It is a great idea to get off that bus and jump on a bicycle to explore a new part of the world at your own pace. Taking photos of landmarks from the viewpoint of a bus is a legitimate part of travel, but only by getting on the ground, talking to the local people, and tasting the local food can you truly immerse yourself in all that a destination has to offer.
Devonport and Takapuna are two of the greatest treasures of New Zealand, and the only way to explore this territory is on the ground. Renting a bicycle is a great way of exploring a huge amount of the region’s terrain while being able visit local parks, businesses, and eateries.
