Bairro Alto is a very old neighborhood in Lisbon that has been completely revamped and nowadays is the coolest and hippest place in Portugal. The narrow coble streets are filled with the hippest shops and restaurants mixing the new and old Lisbon flavor.
Chiado, right across Bairro Alto, is the heart of the new Lisbon movement.
