About New & Noteworthy in Los Angeles
LA is now officially out of this world. The Space Shuttle Endeavor has landed in Exposition Park and will be showcased there permanently. Nearby the Natural History Museum has completely redone it's Dinosaur Hall. Even the once disregarded Los Angeles County Museum of Art has doubled in size and has bonafide outdoor hits in "Urban Light" and "Levitated Mass." The city already hosts six professional baseball, basketball and hockey teams is there even room for a new NFL franchise?
From the rebirth of Hollywood to the gentrification of downtown and Venice, the investments of the early 2000s have paid off. But while LA matures and accepts it's destiny as New York's south pole it remains a teenager, hormonal and curious, in it's eye flickers the spirit of the frontier and the adventure of the wild wild west.
