Sitges & Rum Bacardí

Enjoy a half-day private tour from Barcelona to Sitges, one of the most picturesque and popular seaside towns of the Catalan Mediterranean, with a privileged microclimate. During 6 hours discover the allies and corners that witnessed the birth, at the beginning of the nineteenth century, of Don Facundo Bacardi, founder of one of the most prestigious rum companies in the world.

First we will explore the old town, the wall, the Quiet Corner, the old fishermen's houses, the cannons and the colonial style houses built in the late 19th century by “Indianos” who made their fortune in America and returned home after their overseas adventure. Of course our visit will be framed in the famous golden beach of Sitges.

Soon after that we will test our senses to experience the unique flavour of Bacardi rum and discover the fascinating history of this iconic brand during a guided tour, where we will learn to make our own mojito with the help of professional barmen.

Finally we will have lunch at a typical Catalan restaurant where we will taste the exceptional Mediterranean cuisine.
Then we will return to Barcelona where we will say goodbye at 3:30 pm.
