A Sunset followed into the night by a 5 kms walk, from the OLD ROMAN SANCTUARY "THE SOLI ET LUNAE" (Sun & Moon)
This is the site, the ruins, of the ancient and once monumental temple dedicated to Soli et Lunae, a sanctuary already Ptolemy referred, placing it at northwest of Olisipo (Lisbon), on the 'Lunae Mons' Promontorium. Remember that Sintra is also called the 'Moon Mount'.
And if you are in the mood, a little detour drives us to see the dino footprints in a rock south of Praia Grande.
