Having lived in many different places in Europe and overseas I first came to Spain as an exchange student a few years ago and immediately fell in love with this fascinating and diverse country. After graduating from Oxford I moved to Barcelona to work in academic research but found the office environment too stifling and missing in human contact so I decided to pursue my passion for travel, languages, history, culture, and working with people by becoming a Local Guide and a freelance European Tour Director. My first occupation allows me to share my genuine enthusiasm for Barcelona and Catalonia and excellent knowledge of its art, history, architecture, current affairs, cuisine and culture with visitors from all over the world.
