We will meet at Columbus Waterfront Park and begin with a short walking tour of Boston's North End, where I will show you the historic and gastronomic aspects of the neighborhood. I will provide transportation and we will visit the nearby Beacon Hill neighborhood which is the current seat of Massachusetts state government. From here we will begin our exploration of the North Shore. We will start with the quaint, coastal "New England" town of Marblehead, and we will end our journey in Salem- famous for its witches and architecture.
Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers- there will be some walking involved and many streets are bricked or cobblestones. Make sure to bring your own water and snacks, but we can also stop along the way to enjoy the local flavor. Boston has a number of great seafood spots and other local favorites.
