Huangyaguan Great Wall&Royal Qing Tomb

The Huangyaguan Great Wall is 28 kilometers north of Ji county. Originally built in Tianbao 7th of Beiqi , the Huangyaguan was repaired for the first time in Ming Dynasty with bricks and for the second time in 1985. In 1986 it was listed as a key relics protection target of Tianjin city. Huangyaguan lies on a steep and abrupt mountain ridge, and got its name from the yellowish hills and rocks nearby. To the east there are cliffs, and to the west crags. The Great Wall at Huangyaguan encapsulates the essence of the Great Wall, with outstanding architectural variety and some of the unique features of the Wall.
Being a sacred burial ground near Beijing, it is one of the two tomb areas devoted to the emperors, empresses and imperial concubines of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911, the last feudal empire in China).The other is the Western Qing Tombs.
The Eastern Tombs of Qing Dynasty in Zunhua County is one of the two burial sites for the remains of emperors, empresses, consorts,and princesses in Qing Dynasty ( 1644-1911).

Pick up from your hotel around 7:00am. Transfer to Huangyaguan Great Wall by car(approximate travelling time:3hours) . The entire section of Huangyaguan Great Wall is built on an abrupt yellow cliff, so it was so named. Huangyaguan Great Wall is located 28km north of Ji County, Tianjin. Hiking at the great wall will takes about 2 hours. Then have lunch in a special characteristic restaurant.
In the afternoon transfer to Eastern Qing Tombs area by car to see the imperial burial ground for the emperors in Qing dynasty. Transfer back to your hotel.
