Chinese calligraphy:
Chinese calligraphy is a form of calligraphy widely practiced and revered in the Sinosphere, which often includes China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. The East Asian calligraphic tradition originated and developed from China. There is a general standardization of the various styles of calligraphy in this tradition.

Paper cutting:
Chinese Paper Cutting or Jianzhi is the first type of papercutting design, since paper was invented by Cai Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty in China. The art form later spread to other parts of the world with different regions adopting their own cultural styles. Because the cut outs are also used to decorate doors and windows, meaning Window Flower.

Pick up from your hotel lobby at around 9:00am.Transfer to Hutong area by car, explore the most beautiful Hutong area in Beijing by walking. Sightseeing of inner Hutong by rickshaw(40 minutes). Then visit to a local family and learn about Chinese calligraphy(1 hour),and D.I.Y Chinese dumplings(1 hour), enjoy these with other Chinese dishes as this will be your lunch.

In the afternoon,at the local family learn the Art of paper cutting(1 hour) and facial make-up of the Peking opera character(1 hour). Return to your hotel.
