Write&Record a Song! (No Talent Needed!)

This is the only tourist experience in Austin that makes you a real part of The Live Music Capital of the World.

You'll have fun and get a one of a kind souvenir - even if you can't play or sing a single note!

I have worked with people of all range of talents to create goofy "songs in an hour" in my home recording room. I'll help you write, record and mixdown a fun song that you can take home as a one of a kind souvenir of the Live Music Capital.

Please be aware of these:
• I do not have a professional studio.
• I'm not a professional musician.

But here's the good stuff:
• I have played for over 20 years.
• You will get real, original music that you helped make. -
• Everyone who has done this has had fun!

1) You'll meet at my home studio
2) We'll pick a genre.
3) You or I will add loops or play music. I have drum loops, guitars, bass, keyboards, ukelele, and more.
4) You'll write some lyrics off the top of your head (I can help)
5) You'll sing or talk the lyrics.
6) You'll have a ridiculous masterpiece at the end!

Special Notes:
• Session usually lasts 1-2 hours.
• This is for fun. Expect it to be silly - not serious!
• The quality of the recording will be good but not professional-level (it's only an hour or two after all!)
• You don't need to bring anything but if you want something more than bass/guitars/keyboard/drums you are welcome to bring it!
