This tour is a combination of Rio´s amazing views and the history of the city´s foundation. It leaves from the most famous beach in the world, Copacabana, and will take you to Flamengo´s Park, the biggest leisure complex in the city, that was built after successive landfills at the Guanabara Bay. The park extends from the Santos Dumont´s Airport, in Downtown, until the beginning of Botafogo´s Beach, in the South Zone, and has a total area of 1 200 000 square meters. We´ll stop at all of the attractions for pictures and explanations. This tour goes 100% through exclusive and safe cycle paths!

Itinerary

The tour starts at Copacabana Palace Hotel and we will ride the cycle path heading to Botafogo´s neighborhood through a tunnel. We will ride to the amazing Red Beach that is also the starting point to take the worldwide famous Sugar Loaf´s Cable Car ( we will not take that). Leaving the Red Beach we go to Urca, Rio de Janeiro´s first neighborhood filled with stories from the time Rio was founded. Botafogo´s beach is our next attraction where we can have the classical view to the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Next stop is by Estacio´s Monument, a tribute to Rio´s founder and after that we´ll reach Flamengo´s Park and ride it´s cycle path surrounded by it´s great paisagistic project by Roberto Burle Marx!
