This bike tour takes you to the most famous beaches of Rio, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. And that´s not all, you will ride the amazing Rodrigo de Freita´s Lagoon. At this tour you will understand how Rio de Janeiro´s football clubs rivalry started at the Lagoon! Yes, that´s correct, it really started at the Lagoon, but I won´t ruin the surprise talking about that now! We´ll stop at all of the attractions for pictures and explanations. This tour goes 100% through exclusive and safe cycle paths!

Itinerary

The tour leaves from Copacabana and goes straight to the beach of Ipanema, immortalized by the music of Tom Jobim, Girl from Ipanema, we will ride it´s bike path untill we get to Jardim de Alah ( Allah´s Garden), there is a channel that connects the Lagoon to the sea, and separate the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon. The channel leads us to Rodrigo de Freita´s Lagoon, surrounded by the most fancy neighborhoods of Rio (Lagoa, Ipanema, Leblon, Gávea and Jardim Botânico), framed by mountains and embraced by the Christ Redeemer, Rodrigo de Freita´s Lagoon impresses by it´s sunset and the gold reflex on it´s silent waters. We will ride the Lagoon bike path, passing by 3 parks, wich are the best equipped areas of entertainment of the city. We´ll pass by Vasco da Gama Nautical Headquarters and the main headquarters of Flamengo, the most popular football club of Brazil. We´ll return to Ipanema and if you feel you need to jump in the ocean, now it´s the right time!
