This tour will take you to the other side of Guanabara Bay, crossing our 13 kms long bridge to arrive at the city of Niterói. There we have a park created in 1991 thanks to an intense mobilization of the community, the Serra da Tiririca´s Park (PESET) is currently an ecotourism’ and entertainement’s pole. The park protects and preserves areas of rainforest, coastals, resting and mangrove, which makes it an important refugee for it’s fauna and an area of increasing interest to the cientific research and enviromental education.

Itinerary

Highest spot in Niterói with 412 meters, has a great view of one of Rio’s zones and also to other cities of Rio de Janeiro´s State, such as Maricá. The course is beautiful with many slopes and stops to gaze breathtaking views of this amazing coastal area. Reaching the top we have Itaipuaçu´s Beach at our feet, a very long beach that goes through 2 diferent cities.
